SGH Annual Scientific Meeting 17-18 April 2009

annual scientific meeting for SGH where we get to present our projects done over the past year.

had to do a poster for my pre-reg project once again. but it was kinda an easier assignment as compared to doing the fyp poster, since i have already done a poster before. and the poster seems like so much easier after you have finished the writeup and presentation.

presenting my pre-reg project poster! bright bright colours. had to stick to the singhealth template though.

got selected to be in the finals in the category, so had to give a 10 min poster presentation to the judging panel. thx to jerlin who took this photo.

had to attend the ASM dinner at Ritz Carlton in view of the fact that we got shortlisted for the finals in the Allied Health category. though it was supposed to be a formal dinner, think we all turned out quite smart casual. =) since the organiser said it was fine.

it was a really long dinner with the speeches and the prize presentations, but i guess it was a good chance for us to sit at the same table with the more senior pharmacists and get to know them better.

took some pics while waiting for the rest to arrive. even though it was green, i didn't really like tt wall deco in their cafe. ha.

yummy mango salad with roast duck and crab claws, followed by some 4 treasures soup, cod fish, fried prawn noodles with smoked chicken and the dessert being passion fruit coconut cake, that was kinda too sour for me.
