bits and pieces of sgh life in the midst of busy busy deadlines, viva, board exams.
and after we ended most stuff,
we had a chance to play paintball!
it's actually a inter-hospital competition but each hospital can send more than one team. and sgh sent 3 teams in. actually, we volunteered for the fun of it. and since it was a bargain as compared to the prices outside, we just decided to give it a shot!
and so *drumrolls* SGH Team 3! a.k.a pre-reg team =)
took a photo before we started playing. the clean, energised faces. as you see, i wore the ugliest shirt i can have, so that i can discard if need be. and even took out my beloved sports bag tt i haven't used for ages. =)

and after a very long wait for the organisers to clear the ground from the previous team, and melting in the hot sun, which was actually thankful as it seemed like it was going to rain before that; we had a briefing and started the games!
it was quite fun playing, where you had to complete certain tasks as a team before you can win. fun trying to hide and shoot at the stupid cone tt doesn't seem to fall off. and take the flag/brick and run back to the starting pt without getting shot.
but the guns were heavy and getting shot by the paintballs is not exactly comfy. had huge bruises on my back where i got hit. thankfully the ones that hit my arms burst, so no blue black!
it was quite fun, though sad to say, we didn't win any games. was against our seniors one round, and the horrifying team with 2 guys another round out of the 4 rounds. but it was still quite fun! =)
and then, cabbed to jinyi's place. showered and wii-ed for my 1st time for a while b4 going for the thank-you bbq. it's supposed to be a event to thank us for organising the xmas party!
had fun cooking and blowing up the fire. havent had a bbq for ages!
but the dark clouds that were looming in the afternoon finally gave way and poured down. thankfully most of the food were cooked by then. so we just had fun talking and drinking with the wine that ming chai brought down. not forgetting fun with his little boy. =P
