2009 seems to be flying past very fast.

maybe cause of the tight schedule of deadlines and exams.

managed to take a breather after submission of writeup and have some pre-valentine's day events.

had our monthly jiemei outing @ Barossa @ Esplanade. organised by dearest hui ching. it was a good dining experience at esplanade since it was a place i haven't been to for a long time, since the last time we watched Avenue Q. and we only stayed indoors previously.

and since it was near to v-day, she came up with a theme to dress according to the question of "what's the colour of your heart". the most creative answer gets a prize.

i spent the morning staring at my wardrobe and picked a red dress! with a tinkerbell necklace! you can't go wrong with sth red. though i managed to find a meaning to that dress in the end that totally explains how i feel, i didn't say it out until the end. don't know why.

and dear shan shan won with her grey dress. which was really apt.

since it was 1-1 for thursday night, decided to order a cocktail. i forgot the name though. combi of kahlua and almond. almond taste was too strong. but the strength of the drink was still okay.

5 of us with the night skyline of the cbd. try guessing what each of our dress code means. *winks*

then, had ktv the next night with the usual pru khakis! haven't had ktv since like one year ago? yeah. had to go to ulu katong because chinatown ktv was like fully booked one wk in advance. seh. i already tried to book early this time round. boo =(

but the ktv there was really cheap. still comparable to the price we had when we went in year 1 if i nv remembered wrongly. good for ppl who stay in the east.
