Timbre II - 27th December 2008

3rd drinking session in a week.

which is ALOT for me.

but then again, it kinda made up for the part where I had to work on xmas. (ya, i had xmas duty! but it turned out relatively slow. which was good)

and definitely made up for the past week where i had to stay late almost everyday to prepare for case presentation.

arranged with Siyong, Wilson and Hui Ching to go to Timbre III @ Mt Sophia. and after climbing the flight of steps up, we realised that it was impossible to get a seat at Timbre III. underestimated its popularity. there was like 5 or 6 groups of people queuing outside, when the live band hasnt even started playing and the whole pub was already full.

so we decided to cab down to Timbre II @ Boat Quay .

4th time in 2 months. bleah.

and it was E.I.C once again.

wilson and huiching ordered this half dozen of shots, that comes in layers, known as brain hemorrhage. sounds like it will kill but its made up of baileys, peach schnapps and sth else tt i forgot. and the 2 of them tot it was okay, and the effect didnt kick in until much later. think if it's me, i will juz ko on the spot. haha

ordered a bottle of jacob's creek riesling. wine from aussie. makes me miss aussie all over again.

maria and me. coincidentally, we were both dressed in reddish-pink. =)

siyong and me. finally shifted to these benches from those high cushion-ed chairs. and it was so much more comfy that we just treated it like we were at home. haha

and dish of the night: thin crust mushroom pizza. it rocks. something that you must always try when you go timbre.

listening to live bands is really enjoyable.
