FAPA 2008 @ Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel
had a 3 day seminar at the hotel. this was a bi-annual event that was held in different Asian countries, and it was held in Singapore this year. and because SGH sponsored us fully, all of us had to go for the seminar. as the head said, we have no excuses not to go, since the cost was fully offset. savings of $300. haha.
so... whole weekend was bust.
glad i had the car during that weekend. juz so damn lazy to take public transport from SGH to the hotel after work on Friday and Saturday. so could just drive over. and had fun in the car with the pre-regs. haha. i remember winding down the window to reduce the "TB" germs flying around. *grinz*
the talks were okay, though I think some were not really relevant. i think we were just looking forward to the food. and tea breaks. haha. think the tea damn dilute, coz we all just had numerous cups of tea.
not forgetting the booths where we can walk around and get free stuff again. think i have too many post-its and pens. haha. which is good, since my pens always seem to run out of ink damn fast. or else, it will just go cranky and spoil on me.
AH and SGH Pre-Regs! think the AH, SGH, and Unity Pre-Regs all had to go for the seminar, so we got to see each other quite often during the 3 days. and the lanyard they gave us, was pink!! quite nice. =)

cute taiwan mascot. they had alot of mascots to attract people to attend the next conference in 2 years time, in Taiwan! the food in Taiwan will be a great pulling factor!

the Koreans were dressed up in their traditional costumes on the 1st day, and they looked so cute and friendly, that we couldnt resist taking a photo with them.so. SGH Pre-Regs can still have fun. haha
