2nd SGH Pre-Reg Outing!

had some kind of celebration after our journal club ended! yeah. one presentation down.

no need to wait for 3 months. haha though not everyone went.

so damn happy. it went on quite well, considering that I only selected my journal like 1 week before the presentation. and the pharmacist could only find time to look through my slides one day before the real day. just that there was ALOT of Q&A.

at least sacrifices of my lunch break to read journals/do slides didn't go to waste.

so our food fanatic, Xiu Yun, suggested gg Yum Cha. ya. shuhui's logic is since we seldom get a chance to go out, so when we do, we should SPLURGE. i think mostly on food. haha

the spread of dim sum we had! the mango you tiao was really good. good recommendation from Xiu Yun. and I havent eaten good har gao for ages. haha. the sambal kangkong was also damn shiok. then, we ordered this huge dumpling in the soup, that you are supposed to poke open the dumpling to get the soup ingredients. cool idea.

then it was dessert time!

ordered yang zhi gang lu. mango with pomelo! and it came in a really interesting presentation. like in this huge wine glass, that had dry ice. and everyone was so amused and overwhelmed.

and then, after journal club, it was back to concentrating on project again, other than preparing for my sp44 presentation.

times back in MRO! on a Saturday...

and we were so bored that we just had to...

bored bored bored. especially when you have to go down to MRO, that is like a dungeon, after Saturday work duty. boo. was working the full Saturday that day.
