long drives are good.

especially when driving on long roads in the middle of the night in Singapore.

or when you drive past places that are so familiar, but you haven't gone for a long time.

it gives me time to myself, the freedom to go anywhere i want, the freedom to just listen to any radio channels/music, or just gasps of fresh air whenever i choose to wind down the window. i guess its a good time to think/relax in that drive.

okay, disadvantage is waste petrol. haha.

and today, i got to try out the new roads myself, rather than sitting in my dad's car. from nearly one end of KPE to the other end, and the flyover at Lornie. totally different experiences. one is like so low underground, long dreary road. one is like so high and fast shortcut!

i miss the road trips i had in australia, where the scenery was good, drive was good, company was good, conversations were good. especially that long drive under the starry sky, learning about the essences of life.

viva's coming soon at the end of this month. freak. its only 2 more weeks. 12 days to be exact. so short!! got to get in the mood to study seriously. though i have been studying anyway, just that i think its non-absorbable studying. haha.

maybe should just take leave soon. take a break after viva.
