PRU Tea Party on 6 Sep 2008

had a tea party for the 1st time. all the new ideas coming up these few years. haha. anyway Lianghan suggested it since he was coming back from Paris and he brought back some good pastries and food. e last time I ate Paris food was in primary school la! thanks Lianghan man. for bringing the food back and for getting the food at Cold Storage.

some food that we had. duck liver, banana crispy crepes, macaroons (the melon one was damn good), tartar sauce that looked so refined. thankfully we had huiching who knows how to read french, and we managed to get the crepes done. lol

the spread of food we had! with all the spread of cold ham, smoked salmon, baguettes (that disappeared in no time), cheese, jam, cherry tomatoes, grapes, etc

cooking the crepes in Hui Ching's kitchen and Huiching was the only serious one. oops. the rest of us were playing around. lol.

i think this is the only photo with Lianghan in it. oops. since he left earlier. hope u enjoyed ur baguette sandwich. =)

4 jiemeis. i realise we r kinda colour coordinated. 2 blues at the side, 2 blacks in the centre. haha

e guys. as garung as ever

the group of us, excluding Lianghan. as shan shan said, we are really getting smaller in numbers, with everybody overseas. hmm.

think having the next tea party in a park will be good! okay maria, not to say your house is not conducive. haha. it has a resort feeling to it. with the benches and the waters.

i guess parks are good in their own ways. the tranquility, the joy of seeing everybody spend quality time with their loved ones, the sounds of nature. oki. its not perfect. got mosquitoes. but i still like parks. haha. regardless of cycling, walking, studying.

i kinda miss parks. small ones. big ones. those beside seas. or just having ponds.

suddenly nostalgic.
