Jiemei Outing on 28 August 2008

okay. 1st successful jiemei outing because everyone's around! haha.

so was supposed to go to Botanic Gardens for a picnic, but due to bad weather that day, we changed our plans. bought the "picnic" food at Coro Plaza NTUC, which I havent gone for such a long time! gd long memories there from OAC times.

then wanted to make a trip to BTC to have the picnic under shelter. but then passed by this italian place, Da Paolo, at Serene Centre, which changed so much! omg. haha. so decided to walk in and try the cakes and decided to just camp there for the afternoon. since it wasnt crowded.

Da Paolo, with the nice spread of appetizers and pizzas. they also offer nice cakes. with lots of coffee. shall try the coffee there one day. there were seats outside, where you could just sit there and have a good chat with friends or have a good cuppa coffee. =) or just look at the cars passing by.

e food we had tt day. bread with tuna, cheese & ham, crackers with smoked salmon, chips, grapes, fruit juice, sauteed mushrooms that we bought from the cafe, and tiramisu and valrona chocolate cake from the cafe. the cakes were not bad, though the mushrooms were just normal.

after we decided to go home, we decided to take some shots in the toilet! haha. coz the toilet was quite nice, as compared to the previous toilets in Serene Centre. nice change.

it was a nice afternoon, just sitting at the tables and talking about anything in the world. even though it was stormy outside.
