then, I stayed for my own commencement ceremony to start. went into the robing room and helped friends with the gown, and wear the gown myself. then, waited for my parents to come, and brought them around the place before they went in.

managed to take a photo of myself before the graduation ceremony. haha. think it looks quite professional. lol.

graduating class of 2008! the speeches made by the guest and the valedictorian were relatively good and humourous, making the ceremony quite interesting. the words were also meaningful and it really can bring us a long way with that.

all of us gave a really good round of applause for all the pharmacy graduates. even though each of us belonged to different cliques, we still went through 4 years of hard tiring pharmacy school together. so to some extent, there is a bond between us. and here we are, going up on stage as graduates.

even had a standing ovation for one of our classmates, who graduated together with us, in the midst of her fight for cancer. which was really touching. eyes got a bit wet. coz it was really a long journey each of us made.

at the end of the ceremony, the ribbons and balloons flew down! and chaos began. haha. playing with the balloons like little kids. each of us tried to grab a lilac balloon. to fit our lilac hood. or even burst balloons. lol.

then began the photo-taking!
