planned to go to Grampians on the 2nd day of melbourne, but there wasnt any good deals, so decided to go to the Dandenongs instead. to take Puffing Billy, a steam train that runs through the Dandenong Ranges.

took like almost 2 hrs to get to Belgrave, the place to take Puffing Billy coz of some misinterpretations on my part between trams and trains. i thought they were the same thing, but apparently they were not. and coz of some urgency to find a toilet, we had to backtrack. hard to find a toilet in aussie. haha.

so we finally arrived at Belgrave and packed lunch from a cafe hurriedly before going to take Puffing Billy. took the last train and so, can only take to Emerald. the view along the way wasnt exactly what we expected, which was kinda disappointing, but some parts were still quite awesome, though no good pictures could be taken coz it was covered by trees along the way.

people were sitting on the edges of the window seals, hanging their feet out. we also followed, and the feeling was quite good. though i held onto my cam quite tightly in case it drops and gone case already. luckily we were all wearing shoes, so no worries bout that. haha.

kinda like this picture. the faraway look in the distance, thinking of something. it was really cold, with the wind blowing at us while in the train. so we took out all our cold gear, even my gloves. bleah.
