Melbourne: 15th May - 22nd May

nice sunset view from the air plane on the way from Perth to Melbourne. couldnt really sleep well on the flight even though it was a night flight. maybe coz of the super long delay of the flight, that went on for like 2 hours.that kept me awake. it was such a coincidence coz shiqi and gang were on the same flight as me, and so I had a bit of company while waiting for the plane to start boarding.

thankfully, my grad trip friends were still waiting for me at the melbourne airport. kinda guilty i had to make them wait for so long for me, though it wasnt really my fault. stupid qantas. and so, we made our way to jielin's place. and slacked ard for a bit before going out to explore the city with the help of Jielin. she brought us around, and brought us to Federation Square to take some maps from the visitor's centre.

2nd experience of nandos! coz yimin was craving for it since the last time she had it was in europe like 1 year ago.

then Jielin left us to go back to continue on her thesis and we juz wandered around on our own. made our way to Royal Botanic Gardens from Federation Square. it was quite a nice walk along the river in autumn, with the red and yellow leaves on the trees.

Yarra River with the pretty red leaves on the tree. i guess it will look different a few weeks down the road, when it becomes bare.

Melbourne Arts Centre. looks like Eiffel Tower.

the trees that covered the paveway in Alexander Gardens on the way to Royal Botanic Gardens. reminds me of the korean show setting.
