Great Ocean Road : 20 - 21 May 2008

finally ventured early in the morning onto the renowned Great Ocean Road. i drove out of Melbourne and made our way to Torquay after passing by Geelong. and waited at Torquay for Huiching to arrive. in the mean time, we went to the visitor's centre to find out more about Great Ocean Road's attractions before going to the factory outlets for the surf shops since we still had some time.

then Hui Ching arrived, and we did a short discussion on places to go before embarking on the journey. passed the car to Yimin to drive and took a break after that.

1st stop: Bells Beach at Torquay. its actually a beach famous for surfing competitions. there were many surfers there despite the cold.

2nd stop: Angelsea. famous attraction in Angelsea were the kangaroos on the golf course. its a wonder they dont get hit by golf balls. i wonder what they do if they get hit. oops.

kangaroos slacking around, looking curiously at these strangers who took photos of them. had to tread lightly around to avoid the kangaroo shit.

3rd stop: Airway Inlet. famous for this enormous lighthouse. and the beautiful scenery of the area from the lighthouse. managed to take this shot while walking along the path to the lookout. think it looks quite nice with the greenery and the lighthouse in the background.
