flight to melbourne got delayed, so here I am, blogging while waiting for the time to pass. seems like fate doesnt want me to leave perth for my grad trip.
hmm. did not really do much over the past few days because he had school, so it was just crashing his lectures like law lectures, maths lectures and econs lectures. (and playing with his laptop during lectures =P) property law was the most interesting lecture, though the lecturer was a bit fast, but still more exciting than his equity law and constitutional law (which i totally zoned off).
University of West Australia was a nice cosy campus. i kinda loved the bridge they had from the library to the blocks, not forgetting the usual grass patches that are always available in western universities. and the front view of the university facing swan river! nice.
went shopping at Carousel on Monday! and bought this nice black coat! happy that I have a coat to keep me warm in the Eastern states. and also bought a pair of short boots for only 23 aud, equiv to 30 sing! cheap bargain.
hmm. had my 1st solo driving experience in Perth yesterday. coz i was too bored with attending lectures anyway. so drove to the supermarket to get some groceries, then back to his apartment. prepared the ingredients for dinner, then fetched him from school. kinda satisfying. though got lost on the way to the supermarket coz of mis communication. luckily i had his GPS. but nevertheless, still fun! bleah
then stayed home today to do my packing for melbourne, and cooked fried rice for lunch! then he came back for lunch, napped and went out. sent him to school, then drove down to Cottlesloe Beach. the sea was so pretty! with the blue and green sea portions, the breakwater, the Victorian house by the beach, and the grass patch to sit on. guess some ppl might think its boring to walk up and down the whole stretch of beach, but i think it was a really nice experience for me. =) especially when its autumn, nearing winter, and there's no crowds at the beach, other than the surfers.
looking forward to melbourne and sydney!
