Tiger Beer Brewery on 21st February 2008

had a trip to the brewery in Tuas with Marcus's family to find out more about the process of making Tiger Beer. quite interesting to look at the raw materials like malt and hops, not forgetting the huge automatic packaging belts with only 4 workers handling it. wow.

the first picture actually depicts how the very 1st tiger beer bottle looked like. third picture depicts the range of beer they carry. the last picture is quite cool because it is acutally a limited edition of tiger beer, where the 2 bottles join together to form the tiger logo.

after the tour, went to the pub where there was free flow of beer. during the 1st hour, you can only drink tiger beer. thereafter, you can drink other beers they carry. if i dont rbr wrongly, they had Heineken, Kilkenny, Erdinger, Baron, Guiness Stout, and even some Guiness stout that contains ginseng. weird. i gave everything a miss! from what i heard, the beer was much more fragrant and smoother as compared to the cans of beer you get outside.
there was also ktv around, where you can sing in front of everybody.
