Sentosa & Brewerkz on 23rd Feb 2008

finally had the time to have a whole day out since it was mid sem break for me, and i could take a short breather in the midst of the hustle of writing my fyp final draft and settling of resumes and job application forms.

1st activity: luge.

think coz it was my 2nd time, i was more daring and practically nv stepped on my brakes at all and went like initial D along the turns =P the sky-ride was normal, though i realised the view when you turn behind is really good.

2nd activity: mini-golf @ Sijori Wondergolf
think it was our first times trying out mini golf. at least for me. wanted to try in US but in e end, the weather wasnt really good, so we ended up not going. it was quite fun to try to aim the balls at the holes, though it takes alot of patience to hit the balls over the really hard obstacles. like the two courses depicted in the picture. overall, still quite fun and quite worth it. 10 bucks for 18 courses. better than spending 15 bucks to go up the carlsberg sky tower. =)

having a break after finishing up the 18 courses (though we gave up on 2, bleah). and saw jade seah coming to play mini-golf too!

3rd activity: lounge-ing at the beach

went to KM 8 at Tanjong Beach, which was a open pub. there were beach chairs for you to lie on it and tan/relax while having some drinks. there was even a jacuzzi in the interior where you can have drinks in the jacuzzi! quite cool. though we were contented enough on the beach chairs to give tt a miss. the prices of the drinks were reasonable. had a lychee martini and some watermelon shooter cocktail. i love this pic! think its quite artistic. haha.

there were 4 wedding couples taking photos on the beach! so we were kind of having fun looking at some funny poses that the photographer asked them to do, and were trying to see who's the best photographer among the 4.

the nice altar like setting at KM 8 at night, and the evening sky at KM 8. not a bad place to go to. juz tt no music though

then took the beach trams to palawan beach and the beach station to take a look at how it has changed. since he hasnt been back in sentosa since jc. haha

then left sentosa and proceeded to kallang indoor stadium. where I had my first experience at an Indian restaurant. had indian crackers, cottage cheese, chicken, naan. quite cool.

then ventured to brewerkz. where we caught a soccer match btw Arsenal and Birmingham. finally tried sips of brewerkz beer and din like it. haha. i still prefer my juices and mocktails. saw Eugene Kang and his friends, which was a pleasant surprise because havent seen him for a long time.
