mm. finally taking a real break from fyp.

decided to write a blog entry about my fyp. haha. after the misunderstanding with xtian.

my fyp topic is actually "Erythropoietin Growth Factor Utilization at National Cancer Centre". so basically i will need to go NCC, which is National Cancer Centre for short, to do my fyp. have to look at patient medical charts and know their stories, but the main thing is to see how the doctors prescribe the use of EPO, which is a drug used to treat anemia, and whether they monitor the essential things. because EPO causes risk of thrombosis.

okie. explanation of medical terms:

anemia - low hemoglobin, means blood have lower capacity to carry oxygen, known as ping xue in chinese
thrombosis - basically clots, might lead to heart attack or even death.

i am like only one quarter way through, at least for data collection. still got analysis!

at least tests for pharmacy are officially over since wed. it was a period of no slp plus too much things to study. finally can pia for exam.

gg to come up with a list of things to motivate me to study. haha
