had a super memorable and enjoyable weekend.

went with pharmies and yimin to Marutama Ramen @ Central on Sat for dinner. it was a nice cosy place, though its kinda small, but luckily we din have to wait for tt long. though some of them were hungry. oops. had a surprise when yimin came, though e cat was let out of the bag by uhmmm. haha.

it was a place where the menu was only one A4-size page, where you can mix and match the soup bases with whatever toppings you wanted to add. we ordered the plain soup bases w/o toppings and went ahead to order the side dishes to share. ordered e spicy chicken soup base. nice! i think its still not spicy enough though. hee.

e ramen + egg omelette + jap char siew + some jap rice like thing (we tot it was rice balls but it turned out to be like tt)

den had ice-cream at hokkaido ice-cream! shared with liwei and yimin. 1st time trying green tea ice-cream because its e jap kind and i am okie with e jap green tea. think i am juz giddy with the jasmine in the pokka kind of green tea. it was nice! the rum and raisin was good too. its rare i compliment rum and raisin icecream. e durian one tt leecheng ordered was oso quite shiok.

then went to walk ard clarke quay. din realise that there's a huge screen in the middle of the cannery where ppl were watching the rugby match between england and australia. no wonder there were so many screams. but in the midst of the screams, the view of clarke quay was really pretty. as pretty as i rbred it to be from the last time i went there at night. i am glad it still looks the same.

den on Sun itself, went for lunch with him at Jack's Place. had a bdae treat from him, and had a nice big bdae cake, which we couldnt finish ourselves, after the huge set lunch that we had. the staff there was really nice and cordial.

my huge oreo cheesecake bdae cake. yummy! at least nothing for me to blow off the cake this time. haha. apparently the staff asked him to put 1 candle to make my age more secretive to the rest of the diners.

after lunch, went to Snow City @ Jurong with Hui Ching, Wenhui and Shan Shan because have been interested to go but nv had the chance. so decided to do sth exotic on this special day.

it was super cold inside there, at a temp of -6 to -7 degrees, so even with our jacket, long jeans, boots and gloves, we still felt super cold. nose freeze until cant feel it, fingers numb until pain. omg. the snow tube was fun, though i always cant manage to find a tyre small enough for e butt. so will end up getting my jeans wet on the ice while sliding down. got once, shan shan and me slide until e tyre came off. pengz.

den had a mini snow fight. and i got pummelled by snow from all of them. too bad the snow was too soft, den not sticky, so cant make a snowman or snowball, or else can have a real snowball fight! apparently, they claim tt the camera lenses will b spoilt if we bring it in, so we had to rely on the professional camera. they purchased a pic for me, and we managed to get the rest of the pics into hc's thumb drive, which was really nice of the staff coz i think he was supposed to save only one pic. =)

sat in wen hui's googu after playing at snow city to our next destination: Purvis St! xin tian joined us there, and we had a good spread of hainanese food at YY Cafe. i love hainanese chicken rice. yummy. hehe. with lotsa chilli. e other dishes were good too. not forgetting the thick spread of kaya on the toast. shiok

ended the day by driving to Minds Cafe @ Selegie to have a few rounds of games. played Saboteur, Cranium, Taboo and some strategy game which I forgot the name. Cranium was fun, though the questions were quite hard. and i suck at humming songs or acting like personas. haha. the strategy game was interesting, but quite a brain killer. haha.
