Independence Day
woah.
1st time I see so many fireworks at one time.
today was July 4, Independence Day in USA.
was supposed to go to the festive celebrations at the university, but ended up going to this scenic overlook, Liberty Point where we could see probably the whole of pueblo, the rockies and even other cities of colorado.
fireworks were just going off everywhere, even when i was driving to liberty point, in 4 directions. can even see in my rear view mirror. think its supposed to be illegal, except for those ground fireworks, but people still pop them off anyway.
the fireworks were going off for a very long time too, like in singapore, the max we ever see is probably like 20 minutes; but we were at liberty point for 1 hr, and the fireworks were non-stop. even when we left, they were still popping.
too bad we were kinda far to take a good video of all the fireworks, just took short videos of fireworks that popped out right in front of us, apparently set off by people staying in the houses nearby.
its an awesome feeling =) maybe one day, something like tt will happen in sg. hee
