Las Vegas
blogging at Las Vegas now.
spent my last day in Los Angeles moving from place to place.
First, Hollywood Boulevard to take some pictures in the day and get some souvenirs. there were many characters on the streets. wanted take pictures with this person dressed up as Jack Sparrow but apparently they wanted tips. i din want to take in the end, because i scared i kena beaten up if i din give enough tips. tried to take a picture of the Hollywood sign on Griffith Parks, but it was too foggy to see the words in the camera. sigh.
Secondly, The Grove and Farmer's market, where people can get groceries for their meals and also this nice place, where there are quite a few high class shops and families can juz rest on the grass patch. I got a dress at Forever 21 at like 20 plus usd. super cheap! yea =)
Thirdly, went to Venice Boardwalk and Santa Monica Beach. There was this memorial there for soldiers who died in Iraq, which was like super sad, and there was a cross for all the soldiers who died. And just last week alone, 35 people died. In the midst of the fun at the beaches, there's this solemn atmosphere lingering around. Anyway, went to the beach and wore like double layers of jackets and jeans, and sandals. It was super cold! The wind was super strong, and I really admire those people still surfing and swimming in the waters.
Took a coach for 6 hours to Las Vegas the next day and here I am in las vegas for the 3rd day already! Staying at Sahara Hotel because the hostels' price were around the same. It's good and comfy staying in a hotel.
There's basically this Strip in Las Vegas where it is super happening, with all the casinos, theme hotels, and shops.
The theme hotels are damn nice and great in Las Vegas. Seriously, pictures cant do them justice. We went to Paris Las Vegas, New York New York, Luxor, Excalibur, The Forum at Caesars, Mirage, Treasure Island and the Venetian, not forgetting MGM grand, Harrahs and Sahara hotel, that are not really known as theme hotels, but they have nice appearances too.
Took many pictures at the exterior and interior of the hotels and viewed the shows at the various theme hotels, such as the fountain at Bellagios, the volcano at Mirage and the fighting "statues" at Caesars. they were not bad, but though a bit short. Went to the M&Ms outlet, which was 4 storeys full of unique M&Ms stuff.
Also went shopping at the Las Vegas premium outlets, where something unhappy happened between the 2 of us.
i hope it will be fine between us and hope it won't ruin our US trip together. really.
