blogging from Houston, Texas now.


had 2 really different bus rides within the last few days.


1st was a bus ride to Grand Canyon and to the Hoover Dam, one of the new 7 man-made wonders of the world. Grand Canyon was absolutely stunning because of the gorges and of the rocks. Even the trails were amazing, especially at the steepness of the trails. We went with a tour group to the South Rim and did not have much time to explore much, but it was already good enough for me, at least.

2nd was a supposed 33 hr bus ride from Las Vegas to Houston, Texas where I am at now. but it ended up being 36 hours because of the delays in transfers. and i had totally nothing to do on the bus, so i just slept most of the way, with some time doing sudoku, reading free papers and listening to receiver which i tuned to different radio stations on the way.

and it was actually an okay experience, but because they lost my luggage during one of the transfers, i am not gg to take Greyhound again if i can help it.

yes, so christine and i are without our luggage in houston, texas now. thankfully we are staying in her friend's dormitory and he has quite alot of things that he could lend us like his toiletries, extra toothbrush and he could bring us around to get stuff we need.

i am kinda scared because i dunno how long it takes to get our luggage back because they need time for the luggage to be transported from wherever it was lost to our area. sigh.

totally no mood to tour ard anymore.
