wow. exams over for like 3 days le. time flies quite fast. which reminds me.

i am going on to year 4! oohh..

its kind of sianz gg on to year 4 even though i have my whole grp of pharmacy frens taking year 4 with me, not forgetting others like wen, huiching, xintian etc.. cause there are already others of the same age as us gg out into the working world! happy working! =) but year 4 should be fun hopefully.. after the horrble modules tis sem.

have been busy playing games from shockwave.. haha completed 2 games within these few days.. so have been staying up late to complete the game even though no exams. haha junhao said i am mad not to want my sleep.

and finally the document from US arrived! okay they were slow to process the stuff i sent over. they took like 2 weeks! omg. their life really at a super slow pace. luckily fedex is quite fast. i got it and arranged the necessary documents and sent those back together with the signed document they sent me. so now i am waiting for them to send me back the final DS2019 form, needed for me to go apply for a visa at the embassy.

i think i am spending a bomb on the administrative stuff for US alone:

i) first aid course that i am currently taking from 3rd to 5th May. they needed us to be CPR trained and my first aid cert expired since like uni 1st year. gotta go take again, but i will have to take next time to get my pharmacist licence when i go out to work, so i am okay with taking it.

ii) immunisations. initially i tot i only had to take a tetanus, den turned out i had to take 2 Mantoux tests (the skin test) and MMR, cause apparently we are supposed to take 2 when we were young, but i only took 1 full MMR and 1 M (measles) out of the MMR (measles,mumps, rubella). sianz.

iii) insurance. apparently i can get the student one, but i cant get it because it doesnt fulfil the US visa requirements of medical expenses coverage of at least 50,000; so had to go get a more expensive one.

iv) bank statements and bank letters for visa applications. this is damn ex. for one stupid paper (of normal A4 paper) stating my bank account balance costs me $20. i was supposed to get 4, but decided to do it another way instead. print from online, at least the teller had the courtesy to tell me of this other way, so in the end only got 1.

v) visa costs at the US embassy. think it costs around 300 sing dollars. omg.

i think i am broke before i get over to US. =(

luckily i managed to get a job from the 14th to 27th May, at sengkang cc, which can help me cover at least these admin costs i supposed. haha.

gotta enjoy myself before work starts! hehe... watched spiderman on wed and then went for sushi buffet at suki! oohh.. super alot of sashimi! yummy. i still want mahjong, ktv, and even sentosa! haha.

or maybe i should save money or spend the time planning for my trip!
