oac reunion lunch
4 more days left of mid sem break..
its like so fast and I havent touched my econs yet when I have a mid-term test nt wk. 40%. this doesnt sound good.
spent the 1st 2 days gg around to bai nian. if u din noe, i have lotsa places to go compared to others. its like normally i stay home or go down to my grandma's hse on e 1st day, waiting for my maternal relatives to come... den will go ard to my paternal side relatives.. den e 2nd day will usually be spent gg to the distant relatives. when i say distant, i really mean it. its my grandparents' siblings. haha.. my grandmother had 6 sisters and 6 brothers, and we usually do not go to all, not forgetting about my grandpa's siblings. thank goodness he only had a few. but the good thing about going bai nian to distant relatives is tt, my maternal side of the family would go together usually, so we would come in one whole big group of people of like maybe 10 to someone's house.. can play around with cousins while the adults talk. haha
had oac reunion lunch on chu san. though turnout wasnt really good, but if we count, only had 16 people around in singapore, so there was around half the people ard le. xinyan, my dear jie, last min cmi again. haiyo. dunno what to say le. when we grow up, somehow we have more commitments, and its harder to organise an outing with like almost everyone turning up. but anw had steamboat at coca steamboat. think it was damn ex coz everything was juz normal, except for the yummy tom yum soup, the special sauce and the peanut tang yuan kueh-like thing. even though some of them said the tom yum soup was too hot haha.
den daniu drove some of us over to my house to play mahjong. 1st time i played mahjong for cny. sounds quite pathetic, but my family doesnt gamble for cny. we just talk, watch tv and cook lotsa good food, like yummy shark fins' soup! daniu won all of us lo. boo. his luck was damn good though he said it was his first time winning for tt cny.
looking forward to steamboat at wen's hse tmr! its always nice being around pru ppl.
