new year 2007
2007 is here! wow 2006 is gone in a whisk juz like tt..
i finally applied for my exchange!! but i havent completed my resume and some motivation letter yet, as to the reasons you want to go for exchange, your learning objectives etc.. looks like i can put my prof comm resume skills to use.. haha.. but 1st muz get my brain working as to what to write, luckily there's no minimum word limit.. apparently maggie told me i can choose as many countries as i wish to, so that e pharm soc person-in-charge can help me email the different countries in-charge to see if there's space, before i put the places in my application form, so basically added alot of countries to my list, like US, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, Spain... sounds like a mouthful..
had a painting session of some house walls last friday which was quite fun, though e roller i had was quite small and quite tedious, so did not complete the rest of the walls as my mother suggested buying a bigger one to make the colour more uniform also... quite fun.
den sent daniu home to get the car and fetched xinyan before going to fetch steph from the airport after not seeing her for 4 months. she looks the same! juz that her hair is damn long and her winter coat looks cool~ haha went for supper with her parents and her sister at newton circle, which i havent gone for a long time... but think the food standard lower le, or maybe coz the nice stalls are not open after midnight..
went to see fireworks at marina square with oac ppl and we found a good and not so crowded spot. luckily we didnt go to esplanade bay to watch coz on the way back, we walked on the main road and were horrified at the sight of so many people walking out from esplanade bay.. fa feng.. haha.. took a video of the fireworks, though i think seeing it with ur real eyes is still much more awesome!
didnt really start off the year with a bang! coz lost money in mahjong at junhao's hse after tt and received e bad news tt bangkok is dangerous to go to now, coz of the bombs. had to postpone the trip to may with an extra surcharge, but its betta den cancelling the trip totally and not getting back any refund i supposed. pray that the situation there will get betta. i wanna eat yummy thai food and go shopping!
luckily still have plans for the remaining days left of the holidays..=)
