nightmare of tests
juz finished watching a webcast in school and blogging away now in school.
juz finished a nightmare of 3 tests and 3 lab reports and 1 project and 1 indiv assignment within 1 wk... whatever... i think my social life is dying off this way...
okay maybe that's too exaggerating, but even steph oso advised me to take a short break b4 my next test... next wk! shit.
yesterday, on e train. wanted to really take a break and look around me to appreciate the surroundings. since yesterday was hari raya puasa, there were many malay families donned in their malay costumes and i was damn impressed with the unity of malay families. the mbrs of one family will usually wear costumes of the same colour or the same shade at least, and the designs would be similar. even the men's clothes will incorporate a little of the designs on the women's clothes. there was this family of 7 where all of them were wearing purple, from as young as 2 yrs old to as old as maybe 60 plus? damn cool..whereas for us, we dun really wear cheongsams out, so not much uniformity...
quite cool. mayb i am a bit slow, to be noticing this only now, when i am already 21 years old! haha. maybe i was always stuck at home during hari raya puasa, or when it coincided with chinese new year, i was travelling in private transport rather den public transport...
talking bout tt, they wan to promote use of public transport cause the use is declining, but somehow or other, i think its a bit hard cause the bus and train fares are gradually increasing, not forgetting bout cabs too... so how to increase use?
i wan to have a car soon!
