hosting the overseas students
yoohoo.. havent blogged in text for ages. din noe what to write for taipei trip coz there were so MANY things to write about. but never mind.. pictures say a thousand words
had a bit of work last week working for nus computer centre during matriculation fair. quite slack and could see alot of guy frens and ny juniors coming into nus, even primary school juniors. amazed also. haha. pri sch juniors. that's like 10 yrs ago. haha.
have been busy bring some overseas pharmacy students around in singapore. there's this girl frm switzerland, a guy frm netherlands and a guy frm romania. there's also another new girl frm slovenia. they are actually students who come to singapore to work for one month to experience more bout singapore pharmacy. need to bring them around coz involved in this International Relations committee in nus pharmaceutical society. quite fun actually.
went to marche to eat e first time i saw them. wanted to bring them around city hall but apparently they went bout themselves, even went up swissotel to see e scenery. good job. brought them to fun time by those at guardian den drove them down to bugis for cantonese dessert tt i havent even tried before myself.
den brought them to sentosa to have fun. something different frm e usual sentosa outings where we only go to the beaches and musical fountain. coz why? its the only 2 free places. were with them, so went to underwater world, dolphin lagoon, take e luge and skyride and walk around e scenic places. e musical fountain tt was supposed to start at 7.40 was full house at 7pm! omg. too many tourists la. den went to the beach for a while, where they swam nearl the rocks. best. liwei had free cable car rides frm his cousin so took cable car and went to mount faber too! so shiok long time nv sit cable car le. he mentioned tt we were like tourists oso, coz havent gone to these areas for such a long time. so much for e high admission rates. den went to eat thai express at ps and selegie beancurd. super long queue oso. first time eating oso.
bringing them around definitely does me good as well. haha. brings me lots of new experiences and makes me feel like a tourist in singapore and renews my childhood times. going to the zoo next! yoohoo. haha
